The Space

Our home is all about creating family memories together. We created the space to invite togetherness, with a secret scavenger hunt and a separate conversation room set up as a "no phone zone".

Time with loved ones is precious, and we want you to make memories together.

We included numerous games, cards, and checkers, plus a fun outdoor space with a fire pit and ring toss so you can enjoy your time under the backyard twinkle lights.

Luxury Amenities

The Royal Swan is a themed home, as Lakeland is known for its gift of royal swans from Queen Elizabeth II in 1957.

The master queen bedroom recreates swans in their soothing and beautiful environment during the day, and the 2nd bedroom, designed mainly for kids (or a 3rd adult), shares adventures of swans at night. The bedrooms are separated by the bathroom and a small nook, allowing for some privacy but also close enough to keep an eye on smaller kids.

The master is calming, relaxing and airy - it connects to its own space on the back porch, the "Conversation Room", and you can walk through the porch and loop around into the kitchen without passing the other bedroom, allowing for early morning privacy and alone time. Shades of blue and green represent the lake and lily pads swans like to surround themselves in, and a light floral wallpapered wall makes you feel immersed into a morning viewing of the swans.

The 2nd bedroom is designed for enthusiastic kids with an imagination, representing a nighttime swan viewing on the lake. A full night sky covers the ceiling, twinkling lights on the beds and wall (all can be turned off without getting out of bed), and another optional black light switch that really makes the room come to life. A twin bed and twin bunks with fluffy & soft bedding create comfort and help kids feel safe outside of their own home. Stocked with kid's books and games, they can lounge and play as they stare at twinkle lights or rest in bed and watch their own TV - all perfect after long days of adventure.

The open concept for living and dining keeps everyone together for games, relaxing and watching TV/Movies, or talking about your favorite adventures that day. The dining offers chairs or bench seating, which is great for all ages.

The stocked kitchen is full of 1920's charm, with crank windows and subway tile. Updated in necessary ways, you have a full fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, and a small microwave. With other necessary small appliances like coffee makers (Keurig & 12 cup), small single-cup blender, tea kettle and mini crockpot, you have everything you need for your stay.

The outside back patio has seating and a gas fire pit to enjoy a fire even in the hot Florida weather. Have s'mores and create even more memories under a canopy of twinkle lights and listen to music out of the bluetooth speaker that you can pair to or play music from the Alexa wired in the home. Kids can run around in the fenced back yard, play tag or ring toss while you sit and relax.

Our family's love for outdoor adventure, family quality time, and safe places for our kids led us to Lakeland, FL.

Growing up in Orlando, we always searched for little areas of charm near, but outside of, central FL.

Orlando can be so busy, and when we looked for a local getaway, we wanted to get out of the traffic but still near places to have fun, adventures, and enjoy time with our family and kids.

Lakeland, FL is that place for us. There is so much charm, so much to do, and adventure doesn't stop. We decided to purchase our 2nd home here so that we could create these amazing family memories for others.

Our goal is to make your vacation relaxing, fun, and most importantly - memorable.

We worked hard to make sure we covered every detail to provide you with the best stay possible. If there is anything we can do to help your stay, please let us know. We love to hear from our prior, current, and upcoming guests.

We loved how cozy this property was, and the color palette was so soothing. Perfect getaway for us and we will be sure to stay here again next time we're in the area. It was clean, fun, and we loved the back conversation room topic board. 5 star experience for sure.

I LOVED this amazing, cute, comfortable and very well equipped bungalow! Just minutes to everything. I wish I had brought my grandkids with me, they would have loved the incredible and unique "starry night" bedroom. Wonderful back yard - so private and fenced too - loved it!! The kitchen is perfectly appointed and equipped although I enjoyed eating out too because there are so many restaurants nearby. I will definitely recommend and most definitely be back! Thank you Jessica for a wonderful stay. I didn't want to leave and get back to reality! -Ann

My kids went NUTS over their bedroom. The lighting was so cute, and when we clicked on the blacklight they were SO surprised and excited. Happy kids = happy vacation! They didn't want to leave.
